About Thorn landscaping and tree care

Redbud lights up the ridge lines above Wittenburg in early April, and beneath the oaks the yards come back thin and patchy from the cold. Thorn landscaping and tree care starts the season right there — the first mow, the trimmed fence rows, edges cut back to where they belong, and last winter's litter cleared off the turf. Shade and Alexander County clay make grass work for it, so cut height and timing matter more than muscle. Week by week the thin places knit and the whole yard evens out. Watching that happen across a spring is most of the reward.
