Thompson's Lawn Care

About Thompson's Lawn Care

Out at Wisharts the road runs between pines and open field, the soil turns sandy under the shoulder, and a summer afternoon can build a thunderhead tall enough to see coming for half an hour before it arrives. Thompson's Lawn Care plans around that sky — grass cut in the clear stretch of the morning, edges run along the walks and drive, trimming done around posts and tree bases, clippings blown clear before the first drops land. Coastal-plain yards drink up the rain and shoot up overnight, so the value is in showing up steadily rather than heroically. There is a plain pleasure in a lawn that keeps its shape all summer without anybody having to think about it. Thompson's Lawn Care looks after properties at Wisharts and the crossroads communities around it.
