About Hicks & Sons Lawn Maintenance

Late June in Winterville is watermelon weather — heat coming up off the pavement by mid-morning, ballfields cut and chalked, everybody looking for shade by two. Hicks & Sons Lawn Maintenance is out well before that, moving through the routes while the air is still bearable: mowing, edging the walks and curbs, trimming the borders, clearing the drives so nothing gets tracked inside. Maintenance is a word about repetition, and repetition is exactly what a lawn responds to; a yard cut on the same day each week never gets the chance to look neglected. The best part of the job is the sight of a whole street done in a morning, each lawn holding its own clean line. Hicks & Sons Lawn Maintenance keeps that going through Winterville and the neighboring Pitt County towns.
