About Boyd Landscaping

Winterville lies flat and open, the way the coastal plain likes it, Main Street running alongside the railroad and the pines standing in a dark line past the last of the fields. Boyd Landscaping mows through the long green months here, when centipede and bermuda grow fast enough that a week feels like two, cutting, edging the walks and clearing the clippings before the afternoon thunderheads pile up over Pitt County. Then a couple of times a winter the sky does something else entirely and a white morning arrives that this town is never quite ready for. That is when the plow and the shovels come out, drives and walkways opened, the steps treated, before noon turns the whole thing to slush. Both jobs come down to the same wish: a place that looks right and works right in whatever the day brings.
