About Skidmore's Tree Services

Ice is the Piedmont's quietest kind of trouble, no wind and no noise, just a glaze that adds a hundred pounds to every limb overnight. Skidmore's Tree Services works those mornings around Winston-Salem, clearing what came down along the creek bottoms and back lanes, cutting a hardwood off a garage roof, hauling brush until a yard is walkable again. Warmer months belong to trimming and pruning, thinning a crown so the next storm has less to grab, taking weight off a limb that overhangs a porch swing. Removals happen where they must, brought down in short pieces when a fence and a flower bed are both in the way. The finish is where the pride lives: sawdust raked, tire tracks smoothed, the place handed back in better order than daybreak found it.
