About The King's Courtyard Lawn Care Service

On the West End's steep little blocks the yards are about the size of a parlor rug, and every one of them is on display from the sidewalk. The King's Courtyard Lawn Care Service treats them accordingly — mowing in one clean direction, edging tight against brick walks and granite curbs, string trimming into the corners no mower will ever reach, then blowing the clippings back off the steps. Spring arrives in Winston-Salem all at once, dogwood and redbud along the older streets, and the grass comes up with it; the cutting rhythm holds from April straight through the heavy middle of a Piedmont summer. There is a plain pleasure in the moment a small yard is finished and the border reads like a line someone drew on purpose. The same rounds carry out through Ardmore and Buena Vista and on to Clemmons, Lewisville and Pfafftown.
