Davis Tree Surgeons

About Davis Tree Surgeons

Old brick and old trees belong together, and Winston-Salem has both, the cobbles down in Salem and the long shade over neighborhoods that were planted to be shaded. Davis Tree Surgeons keeps those canopies working, pruning deadwood out of a willow oak that was tall before the sidewalk was poured, trimming limbs back off slate and gutter, removing a tree when its roots have finally lost the argument with the curb. Piedmont storms come up fast on summer evenings and leave a mess by morning, so cleanup starts early and a street is opened before the neighborhood's coffee is poured. In tight city yards the work is all rigging, nothing dropped and everything lowered, and the ground is left swept enough that only the missing tree says anyone came. Autumn pays it back, with Salem Creek running under a ceiling of gold.
