About California Landscaping & Lawn Care

By mid-July the crepe myrtles along Peters Creek Parkway are throwing color and the heat sits on the Piedmont like a hand. California Landscaping & Lawn Care works straight through the hottest stretch of the Winston-Salem calendar — weekly mowing, edging along walks and drives, shrub trimming, fresh mulch in the beds, and weed control where the clay wants to grow anything but grass. Red dirt shows through fast if a lawn gets scalped, so the deck goes up in August and comes back down when the nights cool. The reward is a yard that still looks tended in the worst week of summer: edges clean, beds dark, the line between grass and mulch drawn like it was ruled. Work runs across Forsyth County, from the city out through Clemmons and Kernersville.
