Seltzer's Service Lawn Maintenance

About Seltzer's Service Lawn Maintenance

February out at Wiggins Mill is bare and beautiful — cypress knees in the shallows, the water gone gray, and the lawns around town dormant and truthful about their shape. That is the stretch when Seltzer's Service Lawn Maintenance does the work nobody photographs: leaves and limbs cleared, beds cut back and re-mulched, shrubs pruned while they are still asleep, edges recut where the winter blurred them. Then March turns up, the mowing starts, and it does not let go until November. Maintenance is a long word for a standing appointment, and a yard kept on that rhythm never has a bad month. By the time the pear trees break white across Wilson, the lawns are already waiting for them.
