Nature's Accent

About Nature's Accent

Out where Toisnot Swamp gives way to pine, the fog hangs until the sun burns it off around nine, and the east side of Wilson smells like wet leaf and cut cedar. Nature's Accent takes its cue from that edge between the wild and the kept. Lawns mowed even, borders trimmed, mulch laid dark around the shrubs, so the planted things read clearly against everything growing on its own. The idea was never to fight this landscape — only to give it a frame. Come evening, the line where the lawn stops and the trees begin is the sharpest thing on the property.
