About Gregory Outdoors LLC

Along old 301 the brick tobacco warehouses still stand shoulder to shoulder, and come October the fields outside town go white with cotton right up to the shoulder of the road. Gregory Outdoors LLC works the yards in between — mowing, trimming, edging, leaf cleanup once the pecans and maples let go. Fall runs long and mild in this part of the state, which means the grass keeps growing weeks after people stop expecting it to. The work is outdoor work in the plainest sense: get in, cut it right, leave the walks swept and the curb line sharp. There is a particular satisfaction in a yard that looks finished on a cool afternoon.
