About Grassmasters, LLC

South of Wilson the land goes flat and generous — crop rows running to a distant treeline, Contentnea Creek easing along under its gums and willow oaks. Grassmasters, LLC works the yards set into that country and the streets back in town, where Bermuda grass grows hard through a July that will not quit. Mowing on a steady rotation, weeds taken out of the beds, fertilizer worked in, aeration and overseeding when the calendar finally turns cool. Heat is the whole argument here: grass that puts on an inch in three days wants a mower back on the same day each week, not whenever it is convenient. A lawn that stays even and deep green all the way through a Wilson August is a thing worth standing back to look at.
