Mikes Mulch & Stone

About Mikes Mulch & Stone

Half the drives around here are gravel or crushed shell, and snow on loose stone is its own puzzle — set the blade too deep and you take the drive out with it. Mikes Mulch & Stone knows how to float over that, opening the lane without scattering it across the yard, then clearing the walk to the door and salting the hard surfaces where ice holds on. Wilmington's sandy ground drinks a melt fast, but the packed tracks under tires stay slick long after the grass has gone green again. Those are the patches worth a second pass. A cleared drive with its edges intact and the gravel still where it belongs — that is the standard, on the handful of mornings a year that ask for it.
