About Lawn Lads

By seven the trailer is already rattling down Oleander, and the plan is to be through the Monkey Junction routes before the afternoon storm builds up over the river. Lawn Lads keeps that pace all summer, because in Wilmington the rain arrives on its own schedule and the grass does not pause to wait for it. Every stop is the same short ceremony — mow, edge, trim, blow the walks clean — done quickly and done square. Fertilization and weed control ride alongside the cutting so the turf thickens instead of just getting shortened. Come November the leaves and the straw come off, and the yard goes into winter tidy.
