Carolina Lawn Care

About Carolina Lawn Care

The live oaks over the older streets — Forest Hills, Carolina Place — throw so much shade that grass has to be coaxed rather than commanded. Carolina Lawn Care knows which corners of a Wilmington yard want the blade set high and which will take it low, and cuts each accordingly. Midday in July the Spanish moss hangs dead still and the only movement on the block is a trim line working carefully around the root flare of an old oak. Beds get edged by hand where a mower cannot reach, hedges get shaped back to their form, and the litter gets pulled out from under the azaleas. It is unhurried work, and whole streets look better for it.
