About Cape Fear Landscaping

Wilmington keeps its lawns green nine months of the year, and the tenth month is the interesting one. Cape Fear Landscaping mows, trims and edges through the long humid stretch when the grass never really stops — the weekly cut, the clean line along the sidewalk, the clippings blown back off the drive toward the river breeze. Then a cold morning turns up once in a while, the kind that leaves parked cars white and the whole port city standing still, and the work shifts to plowing lots, opening drives and walks, and salting the spots that stay slick after the rest has gone. Coastal snow is rare enough that nobody is ready for it, which is exactly why somebody has to be. Both halves come down to the same thing: a property that works and looks looked-after, on the ordinary weeks and the strange ones.
