About Southern State Landscape Inc.

By late July the afternoons out here build toward thunder, and grass grows fast enough that one week feels like two. Southern State Landscape Inc. covers the long stretch of the year when a Willow Spring yard needs cutting whether or not anybody has time for it — mowing on a steady rotation, trimming the fence lines, edging where turf meets gravel, clearing clippings off the porch steps. There is a smell to a piece of Johnston County ground just after it has been cut, and an hour in the evening when the light comes low across it and everything looks level. Come autumn the work turns to leaves and the last cuts before the grass goes quiet. Ordinary jobs, and they change how a place feels every single week.
