Old Wilkesboro keeps its scale — the courthouse, the short blocks, porches close enough to the street that the yard is half of the first impression. This lawn care service works those in-town neighborhoods and the longer places spread out past them, mowing, trimming, edging and carrying off what the cut leaves behind. A town lot and a county lot ask for different things, and both get the same finish: one even height, tight lines where grass meets concrete, nothing tracked across the walk. When a property has been let go, it gets brought back, and then it gets kept. There is a plain pleasure in a yard nobody has to apologize for.
