Cox Lawn

About Cox Lawn

Where the Reddies River folds into the Yadkin, the bottomland stays green longer than the ridges above it, and grass down there grows like it has something to prove. Cox Lawn keeps that growth in hand with regular mowing, trimming and edging, plus hauling off the clippings when a yard has gotten ahead of itself. Late summer is the real test — humid mornings, storms most afternoons, and turf that gains an inch between visits. The work is unglamorous and the result is not: clean lines where the grass meets the drive, one height across the whole lawn, corners squared instead of rounded off. It is Wilkes County work for Wilkes County yards, done a week at a time.
