Snow's Septic Pumping

About Snow's Septic Pumping

The Dan River works its way through Stokes County, and cold settles into those bottoms first whenever a winter system swings down out of Virginia. Snow's Septic Pumping turns to snow work when it does, clearing drives, farm approaches and the lanes that run back through the fields around Westfield. Snow rarely stays long here — often it is gone by the second afternoon — which makes the first morning the one that counts. Ice on a shaded country curve is the real hazard, and a drive scraped down to gravel gives a car something to hold. Then the sun comes back, the fields steam, and it ends about as fast as it started.
