About WNC Slope Solutions

Not many yards in Haywood County lie flat. They tilt instead, benched into a hillside, terraced above a gravel drive, or falling away toward a cove where the fog sits until mid-morning. WNC Slope Solutions mows and maintains those pitched lawns around Waynesville, trimming the steep banks, edging the switchbacked drives, and clearing the cut so a hillside reads as kept rather than gone over to brush. Summer afternoons build thunder above the Balsams and rinse the whole ridge green again by supper, and the grass answers by growing faster than anyone expects. Standing at the bottom of a slope at the end of a day and seeing every line of it running true is its own reward.
