About JH Landscapes

July storms build up southwest of Waxhaw, drop an inch on the Twelve Mile Creek bottoms, and leave everything two shades greener by morning. JH Landscapes mows into that green, cutting, trimming and edging where the ground rolls down toward the creek and shade lies heavy under old hardwoods. Wet ground asks for a lighter hand and a slower line, and it is better to come back a day later than to tear a turn in soft turf. What gets left behind is a lawn with its corners honored — around mailboxes, along fences, tight to the porch steps. Small things, but a yard is mostly made of small things.
