Terrapin Lawn Care

About Terrapin Lawn Care

By mid-afternoon in August the thunderheads stack up behind Elk Knob and the whole Watauga sky goes the color of slate. Terrapin Lawn Care works ahead of that clock — mowing the creek-bottom yards while the ground is still firm, edging the walks, then getting the clippings off the concrete before the rain can paste them down. Cool nights up here keep the fescue honest well into September, and a lawn cut on schedule shows it in the color. The crew likes the small things: a clean line around the mailbox post, a bed edge that holds its shape, a driveway swept as though nobody had been there. Watauga and Deep Gap, week in and week out.
