Aaron's Lawn Care

About Aaron's Lawn Care

First light on the Pamlico comes in flat and silver, and river fog lies in the low yards until the sun gets underneath it. Aaron's Lawn Care starts in that hour, when the grass is heavy with dew and Washington is still mostly gulls and the knock of an outboard heading out. Mowing early means a cleaner cut before the heat sets in, and by midmorning a street's worth of lawns is mown and blown off. The edges get run tight to the sidewalk, because on these old blocks the sidewalk is where a yard shows its manners. It is a good way to spend a morning in a river town.
