Smith Richards Land Management

About Smith Richards Land Management

By July the bottomland along the Dan River grows fast enough that you can nearly hear it, and a Walnut Cove yard goes shaggy inside a week. Smith Richards Land Management cuts in the long light of late afternoon, once the heat lifts off the clay, leaving even parallel bands across the grass. Edges get their line back along the walk and the mailbox post, the trimmer squares up the fence corners, and the drive is blown clear so the whole place reads finished. Come fall the same yards disappear under sweetgum and oak, and the leaves are gathered and hauled off until green shows again. Mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups, from town out toward Pine Hall and Germanton.
