Apex Hydroseed

About Apex Hydroseed

The hills around Wadesboro are the worn-down remnant of the Uwharries, old enough that time has taken all the sharpness out of them. Apex Hydroseed works Anson County lawns where the red clay bakes hard in the sun and thin patches never quite fill in on their own. The work runs from seeding and turf establishment to steady mowing, trimming and cleanup once the grass has taken hold. There is a particular satisfaction in walking back over ground that stood bare in March and finding it closed and green by June. It is slow, weather-dependent, and worth doing carefully.
