About Gladden Property Services

Vale sits where the farm country starts to tilt, the South Mountains a low blue line off to the northwest and the fields between cut for hay twice a summer. Gladden Property Services mows and trims through that stretch of the year, holding lawns even when a warm rain has the grass reaching. Gravel drives here run a good way back from the road, so edging and cleanup take as long as the cutting does. The best hour is the last one — light turning gold over new-mown grass, walks cleared, mower loaded. Vale, Crouse, Cherryville, Lincolnton and Maiden are on the route.
