About Bidwells

Topton sits high in the Nantahala country where the road climbs toward the gap and morning fog pools in the coves until the sun finally finds it. Bidwells - Landscaping, Tree Service, & Grounds Maintenance keeps mountain yards in order up here, mowing ground that almost never lies flat, edging drives carved into the slope, and trimming back the rhododendron and laurel that press in from the woods. Summer evenings cool off quickly at this elevation, which makes for a long, forgiving growing season and grass worth the trouble. Bringing a steep lawn to a clean, even finish is a satisfying sort of stubbornness. Topton, Andrews, Nantahala and the Robbinsville road are all within reach.
