About The Ground Guy

Underneath everything in Davidson County is red clay: heavy when wet, hard as fired brick in August, and completely honest about how it has been treated. The Ground Guy works with that rather than against it — mowing at heights the soil can support, edging, trimming, aeration and overseeding when the season allows, and mulch to keep the ground from baking. The rolling ridges around Thomasville put half the yards in town on a slope, and a slope wants a different pass. Get it right and a thin patch fills back in by fall. It is a steady round, week after week, across town and the roads leading out of it.
