About Bennett Landscaping & Lawn Care

Down where Alexander County runs out of land, the yards drop toward the coves of Lake Hickory and the grass there grows its own way — soft, humid, in a hurry after any rain. Bennett Landscaping & Lawn Care keeps those slopes and shoreline lots in trim through the long green stretch of the year, mowing, edging, trimming, and hauling the cleanup off instead of leaving it heaped at the tree line. Late light comes up off the water and shows every spot a mower missed, which is a fine reason to miss none. Between the lake road and town, the passes are the same and so is the standard. A cut lawn by the water is half of what makes a summer feel like summer.
