Leatherhead Lawn Service

About Leatherhead Lawn Service

July on the flat land near Cerro Gordo builds its own weather, clear at seven, hazy by ten, thunderheads stacking up white and enormous over the pines by two in the afternoon. Leatherhead Lawn Service reads that clock and works ahead of it, mowing, edging and trimming with the blowers finishing a drive before the first fat drops land. Coastal-plain grass in high summer grows like it has somewhere to be, so the rotation stays tight and the cuts stay regular. The reward is a yard that holds its shape right through the wettest weeks of the year instead of losing a month to them. Tatums, Cerro Gordo, Evergreen and the Whiteville side all sit inside the run.
