About B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc.

Down where the Tuckasegee makes its slow bend, the bottomland grows fast in June — a week of warm rain and a lawn has gotten out ahead of you. B. H. Graning Landscapes, Inc. keeps up with it, mowing the river-flat yards and the terraced ones that step up toward the road above. The work is plain and repeated: a steady cutting height, a straight edge along the drive, trimming close around posts and stone without scarring anything. Come autumn the same properties need the leaf fall moved off before it mats down over the cold months. Standing at the gate afterward, a lawn ought to look the way the river does from the bridge — even, unhurried, in order.
