About A&C Landscaping

Sylva keeps its courthouse up on a hill, white and lit above Main Street, and the town spreads out below it in a green that has to be kept. A&C Landscaping works those yards — the sloped ones, the narrow strips behind brick storefronts, the flatter squares out toward the county roads. Mowing here means reading the grade first, then cutting so the passes run true across ground that never really wanted to be level. On a late-summer afternoon, when the light comes long and yellow over the ridge, an edge along a walk looks like a drawn line. That is the part worth doing right: the trimmed border, the blown-clean drive, the yard that looks settled the moment the mower has gone.
