Johns Lawn Care

About Johns Lawn Care

Autumn does not fall here so much as it drifts — longleaf needles letting go a few at a time, week after week, until the lawns wear a rust-colored blanket. Johns Lawn Care makes a season of it around Stewartsville: raking the straw off the turf so light can reach it, gathering leaves out of the beds and away from the foundation, and moving good clean pine straw into the beds where it belongs. The mowing carries on as long as the grass keeps asking, with edges re-cut and corners trimmed each visit. By the time the last of it is hauled away, the yard has that swept, settled look a property gets when it has been properly closed up for the year. Spring will bring the mowing back soon enough.
