About Ramos Lawn & Landscaping

June evenings in Statesville stretch out long and gold, and the last lawn of the day gets the finest light of it. Ramos Lawn & Landscaping works those hours down the shaded streets off Davie Avenue and out toward Troutman, once the heat has broken and the crape myrtles are coming into color. Weekly mowing, edging, trimming, mulch pulled back off the trunks where it drifted — small attentions, repeated, are what make a yard feel tended. Children come back outside after the mowers go quiet, which is a decent measure of a job finished at the right hour. The truck pulls away with the sun setting behind it and one more block looking like somebody loves it.
