About L & C Landscaping

By two o'clock on a July afternoon the thunderheads have already stacked over the Brushy Mountains northwest of Statesville, and everybody working outdoors is watching them. L & C Landscaping learns to read that sky: finish the block, load the trailer, let the rain do the watering. Fescue in this heat wants to be cut high and left be, and knowing when not to mow is half the trade. The rest is mowing, edging, trimming and the spring and fall cleanups, steady through the wet weeks and the dry ones alike. When the storm slides off east and the sun returns, the cut lawns steam a little, and they look the better for it.
