About Evergreen Landscapes

January in Statesville turns the fescue straw-gold and the red clay bright, and the cedars and hollies along the fence rows are suddenly the only green left standing. Evergreen Landscapes works that stripped-down stretch too — dormant cleanups, leaves and fallen limbs pulled off the turf, shrubs shaped while their structure is easy to read. When the warmth returns the routine turns to mowing, edging, trimming and blow-off, one week after the next. Cold-weather work is what makes the spring come in even rather than patchy. A yard looked after in the bare months is the one that wakes up first.
