Santiago's Lawn Care & Tree Service

About Santiago's Lawn Care & Tree Service

Star sits about as close to the middle of North Carolina as a town can get, in among the Uwharries — mountains so old they have worn down to long green ridges and bare rock. The land tips and turns here, so a lawn is rarely a simple rectangle, and the trees stand big and close and full of opinions. Santiago's Lawn Care & Tree Service handles both: mowing and trimming on sloped ground, edges cut along drives that curve with the hill, beds mulched, plus tree work — pruning, limb removal, takedowns and the cleanup that follows. Autumn along the pottery road toward Seagrove turns the hardwoods copper and then drops all of it at once, which makes for long days and very satisfying evenings. A cut, cleared, opened-up yard under those ancient hills is worth every bit of the sweat.
