Island Creek Landscape

About Island Creek Landscape

Water quietly runs this corner of Stanly County. The creek bottoms stay green into the driest stretch of summer while the ground lifts away from them in long, easy swells of pasture, pine and worked field. Island Creek Landscape reads a property the same way — where it drains, where it bakes, where the mower ought to turn — and then keeps it: mowing and trimming on a rhythm, beds edged and mulched, shrubs held to shape, leaves cleared when October finally strips the sweetgums. There is real satisfaction in a lawn that holds a straight line all the way down to the ditch bank. Around Stanfield, Oakboro and Locust, that line is the signature.
