A + Lawn service.

About A + Lawn service.

Turn over a shovelful of ground anywhere around Spruce Pine and the mica flashes back at you — this is quartz and feldspar country, and even the gravel drives glitter after a rain. A + Lawn service works those Mitchell County yards from the first mow of April onward: cutting, trimming close to walls and steps, edging the drives, clearing out whatever winter piled into the corners. Grassy Creek runs cold through town and the season here starts a few weeks behind the flatlands, then makes up the difference in a hurry. Getting that first cut onto a rough yard, and watching it turn back into a lawn, is a small yearly satisfaction worth waiting for. It sets the tone for every week that follows.
