About The Honey-Do Gang LLC

Spruce Pine is a town built on two levels, the street above and the street below, with the railroad running the river line between them — and every house on either side has its dooryard to keep. The Honey-Do Gang LLC takes on that list come March, when things finally thaw: hauling off winter debris, cutting back what died down, then starting the weekly rounds of mowing, trimming and edging as soon as the grass will have it. Yards here run small and steep and full of corners, which means the finish work counts for more than the middle. A hedge line squared and a walkway edged can make a modest place look entirely intentional. There is a lot of that kind of work in Mitchell County, and it is good work to do.
