About Rainey&Son's Landscaping LLC

Out at South Whitakers the land lies flat enough to watch a thunderhead build for an hour before it reaches you, and the rail line runs straight through the middle of it all. Rainey&Son's Landscaping LLC mows and maintains yards along those field roads, where a kept lawn ends and the crop line begins with almost no argument in between. Spring comes on fast here, one warm week and the grass is asking for its first cut, and by August the mowing is a race against the humidity hanging over the rows. Edging the drive, trimming the fence lines, hauling off leaves when the hardwoods let go in November: that's the shape of the year. A yard that's been tended looks different from the highway, and out here the highway is where everybody sees it from.
