About A2Z Handyman Service

South Mills sits where the Dismal Swamp Canal slips south toward the Pasquotank, and the water there runs the color of steeped tea. A2Z Handyman Service keeps yards mowed and edged across those flat, generous acres, where a lawn can stretch out as far as the ditch line allows. Summer arrives humid and slow, the grass climbing overnight after a storm off the swamp; fall sends needles and leaves down in a rust-colored drift that has to be raked and hauled away. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanup, done until the border between grass and gravel is a deliberate line. There's a real satisfaction in standing at the road at the end of an afternoon and seeing the whole place squared away before the light goes amber over the canal.
