About Grind & Grade, Stump Grinding Service

Sawdust piles up honey-colored around the machine, and by mid-afternoon the smell of cut oak is all over the yard. Grind & Grade, Stump Grinding Service handles the last chapter of a tree's life around South Liberty — removals, stumps ground out and the ground left even, and trimming for the trees still standing. Out this way the land rolls in low waves of pasture and pine, and a front lawn or a farm lane deserves to sit level underfoot. Winter suits this work, the ground firm and the yard easy on the machines, breath showing in the cold. They leave a place ready for grass seed, a fence post, or nothing at all but open room.
