H&L Tree Service

About H&L Tree Service

Late August out at Smiths, the field edges go dusty and the oaks throw the only real shade for a hundred yards in any direction. H&L Tree Service keeps those trees in hand — removals for the hollow ones and the ones grown too near a house, trimming that lifts a canopy back off a roof, pruning that steers a young tree clear of trouble later on. Thunder builds most afternoons this time of year, and whatever it knocks down the crew comes and clears: limbs off fences, tops out of the yard, the path back to the road opened. Come fall the light lies low and long across the fields and the work goes easier. The finish is what matters here — ground raked, brush gone, the place looking settled again.
