About Sandman Tree Service & Construction LLC

The Shallotte River bends its way toward the sea through marsh grass and live oak, and the salt in the air keeps everything here leaning a little inland. Sandman Tree Service & Construction LLC works Brunswick County — Shallotte and the beach roads out toward Ocean Isle, Holden Beach and Calabash — removing pines that have gone brittle, trimming crowns off decks and driveways, pruning the oaks so the wind has less to take hold of. Storm season is the real test, and after a blow the crew is out with saws opening drives, freeing fences and clearing yards. Summer starts early here, with light coming up over the water before six. The work is done when a lot sits open and cared for, ready for whatever comes in off the Atlantic next.
