Selma sits on the road east, the one that carries half of North Carolina toward salt water every summer Friday, and the yards left behind still need cutting on Saturday. Surf N Turf keeps that end of things handled with mowing, edging, trimming and clearing the walks, across town and out into the countryside around it. Heat and humidity make for a long Johnston County growing season, so the rotation runs from early spring well into the fall. When the hardwoods finally let go, leaf removal takes over and the lawns get put away level and clear. It is unglamorous, everyday upkeep, and a street of well-kept yards is the visible proof of it.
