About Max Alvarado Lawn Care LLC

June gives this part of Stokes County light until nearly nine, and the last yard of the day gets finished in that long amber hour. Max Alvarado Lawn Care LLC uses all of it — mowing, string trimming along walls and posts, edging the concrete, then one last pass with the blower so the walk is clear underfoot. Summer heat drives the grass hard and then stalls it in August, so the height goes up, the frequency holds, and the lawn comes through without scorching. Working late has its own quiet: swallows out over the fields, machines finally cooling. A clean yard at dusk in Sandy Ridge is a fine thing to leave behind.
