About Hamilton Landscaping

Saluda sits at the top of the grade, where the railroad climbed hard out of the gorge and the town leveled off at last into a short street of brick storefronts. The yards up here are cut into that same steepness, terraced and banked, and Hamilton Landscaping mows them the way the mountain requires — carefully, across the slope, with the trimmer doing the work no wheel can reach. Trimming along stone walls and porch steps, edging where grass runs up on the sidewalk, clearing the clippings off the drop-offs and stairs. Mountain air keeps the grass green late, so a well-kept lawn holds its color long after the lowlands have given up. Getting a hillside yard to look effortless is the quiet pride of it.
