About Eden Turf Co

Early spring in Rowan County begins in fog: the low ground east of Salisbury fills white overnight, and Dunn's Mountain stands up out of it like a green shoulder. Eden Turf Co reads a lawn the way a farmer reads a field — where the red clay packs hard, where shade thins the turf, where core aeration and a generous overseeding in fall will pay off by June. The weekly rounds are mowing, edging and trimming; the seasonal ones are aeration, seed, and mulch drawn tight around the beds. Turf keeps its own calendar, and the reward arrives quietly, one thickening spring at a time, until a yard is soft underfoot and even to the eye. That is the ambition here, on street after Salisbury street.
